Faith In Action is a not-for-profit volunteer program for seniors, and others in distressed circumstances. Our mission is to enrich their lives through faith based volunteer efforts and to enable them to better maintain their independence.
The mission of Hispanic Outreach is to provide language and advocacy services to the Hispanic community, to assist Hispanic students in achieving academic success, and to facilitate and promote equal access to all existing community services for Hispanic residents by creating collaborations and partnerships with local organizations, agencies and institutions. United Way funded programs include the Raising Immigrant Students’ Education Success (RISES) youth mentoring program as well as programming to support basic needs.
Hope & Harbor is an overnight, emergency shelter in Red Wing, MN. The program uses a rotating church model during the months of November through March.
The mission of HOPE Coalition is to end domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and homelessness so that every person has the opportunity to live life to its fullest, while treating those we serve with respect, compassion, and dignity. Currently, we serve over 1,700 people each year in Goodhue and Wabasha Counties, MN, and in Western Pierce County, WI. Simply put, we restore hope. We rebuild lives. United Way funded programs include Kids Count Abused Children’s Program, Sexual Assault Services, Housing Support Services & Community Care Fund.
The Red Wing Environmental Learning Center is a nonprofit organization that provides outdoor programs for Red Wing youth and the community to gain an appreciation for our natural world, develops skills for outdoor recreation, and encourages leadership development.
The mission of the Red Wing Family YMCA is to enhance the quality of life for individuals and the community through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body. United Way funded programs include Sunshine Corner Preschool- a licensed preschool program available to all children in the surrounding community & YPALS-a youth mentorship program.
The mission of Three Rivers Community Action is to work with community partners to address basic human needs of people in our service area, thereby improving the quality of life of the individual, family and community. United Way funded programs include Economic Bridging, HART Volunteer Transportation, and Home Delivered Meals with Advocacy Services.
